climbing mt apo is one of a hell of advenure. I been to mt.Kinabalu which is the highest in south east asia and i think mt apo is nearly twice of that, they are both really astonishing but in my experience mt apo climb gives us more adventure,it drains all my energy, makes me heartbeat so fast. We do a two days trekking but just going on the basecamp the moment we arrived in davao already start the fun by riding a horse which I haven't done before.1st day of trekking is the jungle trekking which is fine, we've seen wild berries and wild straberries, nice scenery then we start the boulders trekking...ohhh this part is a hard bit one clmbing those big rocks with the clouds that reduce our visibility and th suffocatin smell of sulfur give's me a hardtime breathing..and when i look down. phew we're quite up high already and it was steep... nearly a the 1st peak starts to shower a bit another rocky steep ascent how i wish its the last one but its' not and when we got on the peak wow! its marvelous...my brother said it seems his in heaven already. then we camp near the peak, have fun and jokes with our tour guide and porter, they are such a nice people and very helpful they cook for us. The nxt day we went to another peak then had our breakfast and start the descend then start raining, we get soak in wet even we had our rain coats and then we become covered on mad and so our shoes...its so slippery and steep sometimes we used our bum just to slide because its safer. We also do river treeking crossing the river and a bamboo bridge...After we finished our descent we went straight to the hot spring and soak our aching legs,.It's a breathtaking adventure it gives u the whole adventure in two days...
special thanks to our guide engr.Albert Gabriel
